Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter (2 cubes)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 10 – 12 ounces small gum drops
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. In a large bowl beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, water and vanilla until light and fluffy
  3. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda and beat until batter forms.Stir in gum drops and nuts
  4. Lightly grease a cookie sheet
  5. Drop dough by the teaspoon full about 2 inches apart from one another on the cookie sheet.Bake until light brown (approximately 12 to 15 minutes).
