  • 1 T butter
  • 8 oz chocolate
  • 1/4 c confectioners' sugar
  • 1 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup marshmallows
  • 3/4 c peanuts
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk


  1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the condensed milk and 1 tablespoon of butter
  2. Slowly bring the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously
  3. Continue stirring over the heat until mixture becomes thick and amber in color, about 15 minutes.Combine crust ingredients in food processor
  4. Mix until resembles wet sand
  5. Pat into a 8 inch square baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick spray
  6. Bake crust at 375 degrees 12 to 15 minutes
  7. It will not brown.Immediately layer marshmallows over crust, return to oven and broil until lightly brown.Allow marshmallows to cool slightly and set
  8. Pour the caramel (the sweetened condensed milk that has been cooked down.) over marshmallows and spread evenly using an offset spatula
  9. Press peanuts into caramel.Melt chocolate at 30 second intervals in microwave
  10. Pour melted chocolate over peanuts and smooth flat
  11. Allow chocolate to set before cutting.
