Ingredients

  • 4 cups Crispy Brown Rice Cereal(or any rice crispy type cereal)
  • 1/2 cup Organic Golden Flaxseed Meal (or finely ground flax seeds)
  • 10 ounces marshmallows (I used Dandies Vegan Marshmallows)
  • 2 cups Quinoa Pops
  • 1 tablespoon Earth Balance (or butter)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper.In a large bowl, combine brown rice cereal, quinoa pops and flax seed meal.Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat
  2. Add marshmallows and cook until melted, stirring frequently
  3. (Note - if you use vegan marshmallows this will take a while but have patience, they do melt.)Add melted marshmallows to cereal mixture and stir well
  4. You may need to use clean hands to get everything well combined
  5. (I did.)Press mixture into prepared pan
  6. Hide from your kids until they have the chance to set
  7. Enjoy the praise and feel a little bit sneaky that your little ones are eating crispy treats that aren't total junk.
